The Credit Committee
Joining the Credit Committee is a great starting point and gives you a good understanding of how the credit committee works.

The Supervisory Committee
This meets once a month to carry out an internal audit and ensures that the credit union is operating within the law.

The Board
The Board has overall responsibility for managing the credit union and its funds and for its strategic direction. The Board meets formally once a month to approve the Treasurer’s financial report and the reports from the committees, but there is usually a considerable amount of other business to attend to.
